From the Forest to the Sea Watershed Education - Program Details

Activities ranging from hands-on, science-based exploration and educational games, to story telling and puppet shows, engage participants of all ages. Led by experienced educators and naturalists, From the Forest to the Sea explores the inter-connections of our environment by tracing the flow of water from forest, to wetland, to stream, to ocean. All programs can be tailored to fit curriculum needs.

Our programs are adaptable to a variety of learning levels. Though they fit easily within the field of science study, they also have cross-curricular applications. For example, What a Marine Life include the study of First Nations peoples and their customs as well as marine biology.

For those of you who want to take advantage of our programs to complement your curriculum we have included a list of IRP learning outcomes for Science K-8 and suitable program options for each. This is simply a guideline to assist you in matching your curriculum objectives to our programs. ALL of our programs can be adapted to meet your needs and can be applied to many different subjects and upper grade levels as well.

IRP Learning Outcomes are currently being updated. Sorry for the inconvenience.
